Teeth in a Day in Northwich
Walk into our Northwich practice with failing or missing teeth. Walk out the same day with a fixed, permanent set of teeth. One appointment. One life-changing result.
Overview
Teeth in a Day is a full arch implant procedure that replaces an entire set of upper or lower teeth with a fixed, permanent restoration in a single surgical appointment. It is one of the most transformative treatments in modern dentistry and is particularly suited to patients who have been managing failing teeth, ill-fitting dentures or significant tooth loss. At Brunner Court Dental & Implant Practice, 95 Witton Street, Northwich, CW9 5DR, Teeth in a Day is carried out by Dr Nikhil Oberai (GDC: 150126), an MSc-qualified implant dentist trained at the University of Manchester with over a decade of dedicated implant experience. Treatment starts from £11,500 per arch, with finance available through Tabeo to spread the cost into manageable monthly payments. Free consultations are available. Call 01606 44394 or book online.
So, what is Teeth in a Day?
Teeth in a Day is a full arch implant procedure where four to six dental implants are placed into the jawbone in a single surgical appointment and a fixed set of teeth is attached to those implants on the very same day.
You do not leave with a gap. You do not leave with a temporary denture held in place with adhesive. You leave with a fixed, stable, natural-looking set of teeth that you can eat with, speak with and smile with from day one.
The procedure works because modern implant techniques allow the implants to be loaded immediately, meaning the temporary restoration can be secured to the implants before you leave the practice. Over the following months the implants integrate fully with the jawbone. Once healing is complete, the temporary restoration is replaced with the final, permanent arch, custom-made to your exact specification.
For patients who have spent months or years managing failing teeth, uncomfortable dentures or significant gaps, Teeth in a Day is not a small upgrade. It is a complete reset.
Who is Teeth in a Day for?
Teeth in a Day is not a treatment for everyone but for the right patient, it is transformative. It tends to suit patients who fall into one of the following situations.
Patients with multiple failing teeth
If you have several teeth that are heavily decayed, infected, broken down or beyond saving, extracting them and replacing the entire arch with a fixed implant solution is often a better long-term outcome than attempting to save individual teeth one by one. One comprehensive plan delivers a permanent result.
Patients who have worn dentures for years
Traditional full dentures rest on the gum surface and rely on suction or adhesive to stay in place. Over time the bone beneath them resorbs, the fit changes and confidence while eating and speaking deteriorates. Teeth in a Day replaces the denture with a fixed arch anchored by implants, stable, comfortable and permanent.
Patients who have already lost most of their teeth
If you are already missing the majority of your teeth on one or both arches, Teeth in a Day addresses the entire arch in one coordinated treatment plan rather than replacing individual teeth over a prolonged period.
Patients who want a definitive long-term solution
Some patients reach a point where they want to stop managing a deteriorating dental situation and commit to a permanent solution. Teeth in a Day is that solution.
Am I a suitable candidate?
Most adults in reasonable general health are potential candidates. The key clinical requirements are sufficient bone volume in the jaw to support the implants and healthy enough gum tissue to allow the procedure to be carried out safely.
You may be a good candidate if you:
- Have multiple failing, infected or heavily restored teeth with a poor long-term prognosis
- Currently wear a full denture that is loose, uncomfortable or affecting your quality of life
- Have lost most or all of your teeth on one or both arches
- Are in good general health with no uncontrolled systemic conditions
- Are a non-smoker or willing to manage smoking carefully around treatment
We would discuss your circumstances carefully if you:
- Have significant bone loss: This is common in this patient group and in many cases is treatable with bone grafting procedures carried out in-house at Brunner Court.
- Smoke: Smoking affects healing and long-term success rates. It is not always a barrier to treatment, and many smokers are treated successfully — but it is something your clinician will discuss with you honestly.
- Have diabetes or other systemic conditions: Well-controlled conditions are generally not a barrier. We will review your medical history carefully before treatment is planned.
- Take bisphosphonates or other medications: Certain medications require careful consideration before implant treatment. Your clinician will review your full medication history at consultation.
If you have been told elsewhere that you are not suitable, please do not assume that is the final word. Bone grafting and sinus lift procedures are both available in-house at Brunner Court, and many patients considered unsuitable elsewhere have been successfully treated here.
What does Teeth in a Day involve?
Free consultation
Your first appointment costs nothing. Dr Nikhil will carry out a full clinical assessment, review your dental and medical history and discuss your goals. You will leave with a clear written treatment plan and a full cost breakdown with no obligation to proceed.
CBCT scanning and surgical planning
A CBCT scan is taken in-house to produce a precise three-dimensional image of your jaw structure, bone density and nerve positions. This is used to plan the exact position and angle of each implant before surgery begins, ensuring the best possible outcome and minimising surgical risk.
Preparatory treatment (if required)
Where any remaining teeth need to be extracted, or where bone grafting is needed to build sufficient bone volume, this is carried out first and allowed to heal before implant surgery takes place. Your treatment plan will confirm clearly whether this step applies to your case.
Surgery day
On the day of surgery, four to six implants are placed into the jawbone under local anaesthetic. Sedation is available and used by many Teeth in a Day patients. Once the implants are in place, a fixed temporary arch is secured onto them before you leave. You go home the same day with a full set of fixed teeth.
Healing and review appointments
Over the following months the implants integrate with the surrounding bone. You will attend a series of review appointments during this period so your progress can be monitored. The temporary arch may be adjusted as healing progresses.
Final restoration
Once healing is fully confirmed, typically three to six months after surgery, the temporary arch is replaced with your final, permanent restoration. This is custom-made in terms of shade, shape and fit to look as natural as possible.
Long-term care
Your permanent arch is cleaned in much the same way as natural teeth — brushing, specialist interdental cleaning and regular hygiene appointments. We will continue to see you for periodic reviews to ensure everything remains in excellent condition for the long term.

Frequently asked questions about Teeth in a Day in Northwich
At Brunner Court, Teeth in a Day starts from £11,500 per arch. A full written cost breakdown is provided at your free consultation before any treatment begins. Finance is available through Tabeo with interest-free options.
Yes. On the day of surgery, four to six implants are placed and a fixed temporary arch is secured to them before you leave the practice. You go home the same day with a complete set of fixed, stable teeth. The temporary arch is replaced with your final permanent restoration once healing is confirmed, typically three to six months later.
The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic and sedation is available and commonly used, for Teeth in a Day patients. Most patients report that the experience is far more comfortable than they expected. Some swelling and tenderness in the days following surgery is normal and manageable. Your clinical team will provide full aftercare guidance and remain available throughout your recovery.
Bone loss is very common in patients who are good candidates for Teeth in a Day, often because teeth have been missing for some time. At Brunner Court, bone grafting and sinus lift procedures are carried out in-house to rebuild bone volume before implant placement where needed. Many patients who had been told elsewhere that implants were not possible have been successfully treated here. A free consultation will establish what is achievable in your specific case.
A conventional full denture sits on the gum surface and relies on suction or adhesive to stay in place. Over time the fit deteriorates as the underlying bone resorbs, and many patients find eating and speaking with a full denture increasingly difficult. Teeth in a Day replaces the denture with a fixed arch anchored by implants, it does not move, it does not require adhesive and it preserves the jawbone beneath it. For patients who have worn dentures for years, the difference in comfort, confidence and function is significant.
