Smile Makeover in Northwich

A complete smile transformation, planned around you. Not a template, a personalised combination of treatments designed to deliver the result you have been thinking about.

A smile makeover combines two or more cosmetic dental treatments into a single, coordinated plan to comprehensively improve the appearance of your smile. Treatments typically included are composite bonding, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, Invisalign, crowns and dental implants, used in combination to address colour, shape, alignment and proportion in one cohesive plan. At Brunner Court Dental & Implant Practice, 95 Witton Street, Northwich, CW9 5DR, smile makeovers are planned and delivered by an experienced cosmetic team with postgraduate qualifications in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, including an MSc in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and Platinum Invisalign provider status. Finance is available through Tabeo with interest-free options. Free consultations are available. Call 01606 44394 or book online.

What is a smile makeover?

A smile makeover is not a single treatment. It is a carefully planned combination of cosmetic and restorative dental procedures, chosen and sequenced to work together to produce a complete, natural-looking transformation of your smile.

Where a single treatment, whitening, bonding or Invisalign, addresses one aspect of the way your smile looks, a makeover addresses all of them at once. Colour, shape, length, alignment, proportion, symmetry, everything is considered and planned together rather than in isolation.

The result is a smile that looks natural precisely because it has been designed that way. Not an obvious dental procedure. Not a set of teeth that look the same as everyone else’s. A smile that looks like yours, just the best version of it.

Smile makeovers at Brunner Court are built entirely around the individual. Every plan is different because every patient is different. Some makeovers involve two treatments over a few weeks. Others involve five or six treatments over several months. The right plan is the one that gets you to the result you want in the most clinically sound and cost-effective way.

What treatments are included in a smile makeover?

The specific treatments included in your makeover depend on your goals and the current condition of your teeth. Here are the treatments most commonly combined.

Teeth whitening

Almost always the starting point for any smile makeover involving colour change. Whitening is carried out first so that all subsequent restorations, veneers, bonding, crowns, can be matched to the new, lighter shade.

Composite bonding

Applied directly to the teeth to reshape, lengthen or repair individual teeth. Often used alongside whitening for a comprehensive result without the commitment of veneers.

Porcelain veneers

The treatment of choice for patients wanting a precise, long-lasting improvement to the shape, colour and overall appearance of their front teeth. Veneers deliver a level of detail and durability that composite alone cannot match.

Invisalign

Where alignment is a factor, crooked, crowded or gapped teeth, Invisalign can be included in the makeover plan to create the ideal foundation for cosmetic work. Straightening first and then refining with bonding or veneers gives a far better long-term result than masking misalignment with restorations alone.

Crowns

Where back teeth are heavily restored, damaged or significantly discoloured, ceramic crowns can be incorporated into a makeover plan to restore both function and aesthetics across the full smile.

Dental implants

Where missing teeth are part of the picture, implants can be included in the makeover to replace them permanently, completing the overall result in a way that a cosmetic-only approach cannot.

Dental hygiene

Every smile makeover at Brunner Court begins with a hygiene appointment to ensure the teeth and gums are in the best possible condition before cosmetic treatment starts. A healthy foundation gives cosmetic work the best chance of long-term success.

Am I a suitable candidate?

Most adults who are unhappy with multiple aspects of their smile, colour, shape, alignment, missing teeth or a combination, are potential candidates for a smile makeover. There is no single clinical profile for a makeover patient. The right candidate is simply someone with clear goals, healthy enough teeth and gums to support the planned treatment, and a realistic understanding of what is involved.

You may be a good candidate if you:

  • Are unhappy with more than one aspect of your smile
  • Have considered cosmetic treatment but felt unsure where to start
  • Want a comprehensive, coordinated result rather than piecemeal improvements
  • Have healthy teeth and gums or are prepared to address any underlying issues first
  • Are committed to maintaining the result with good oral hygiene and regular appointments

We would discuss your circumstances carefully if you:

  • Grind your teeth: Bruxism affects the longevity of most cosmetic restorations. It does not prevent a makeover, but it requires careful planning and ongoing management with a night guard.
  • Have active decay or gum disease: These must be fully resolved before cosmetic treatment begins. Your initial assessment will identify anything that needs addressing first.
  • Have unrealistic expectations: A smile makeover can produce a dramatic, lasting improvement  but the goal is always a natural-looking result that suits your face, not a Hollywood-uniform set of veneers. Your clinician will help you understand what is achievable and what will look genuinely good.
  • Have missing teeth: Where gaps are part of the picture, implants will typically deliver a better overall result than attempting to disguise the gap with cosmetic work on adjacent teeth. Your clinician will advise on the best approach.

What does bone grafting treatment involve?

1
Starting point

Free consultation

Your first appointment is a detailed, unhurried consultation. Your clinician will listen carefully to what you want to change, examine your teeth thoroughly and talk through the treatment options available to you. There is no obligation to proceed and no pressure to make a decision on the day.

2
Before we begin

Smile design and treatment planning

Once you have decided to go ahead, your clinician will put together a detailed treatment plan that sequences every element of the makeover in the right order. For more complex cases, digital smile design tools and study models may be used to help you visualise the outcome before any treatment begins. The plan includes a full written cost breakdown for every stage.

3
Preparation

Foundation work

Every makeover begins with the essentials — a hygiene appointment to ensure the gums are healthy, and the resolution of any decay or structural issues that need addressing before cosmetic work begins. This step protects both your long-term health and the investment you are making in the cosmetic result.

4
Alignment

Alignment (if included)

Where Invisalign is part of the plan, this is typically carried out before any restorative or cosmetic work so that the teeth are in their final positions when bonding, veneers or other restorations are placed. This produces a far more predictable and durable outcome.

5
Whitening

Whitening (if included)

Teeth whitening is carried out before any composite bonding, veneers or crown work so that all subsequent restorations can be shade-matched to the final whitened colour.

6
The procedure

Restorative and cosmetic treatment

With the foundation in place, the main cosmetic treatments — bonding, veneers, crowns, implant restorations — are carried out in the planned sequence. The number and spacing of appointments depends on the complexity of the plan.

7
The moment it all comes together

Review and maintenance

Once all treatment is complete, we will see you for a review appointment to assess the overall result, check the bite and make any refinements needed. Full aftercare guidance is provided for every element of your makeover.

The cost of a smile makeover depends entirely on which treatments are included, how many teeth are being treated and the overall complexity of the plan. Some makeovers involve two or three treatments and cost a few thousand pounds. Others are more comprehensive and involve a larger investment.

Frequently asked questions about smile makeovers in Northwich

A smile makeover at Brunner Court is a personalised combination of cosmetic and restorative treatments tailored to your specific goals. Treatments commonly included are teeth whitening, composite bonding, porcelain veneers, Invisalign, crowns and dental implants, used in whatever combination produces the best result for your case. Your clinician will recommend the right treatments and sequence them correctly at your free consultation.

The timeline depends on which treatments are included. A makeover involving whitening and composite bonding can be completed in a few weeks. A more comprehensive plan involving Invisalign, veneers and implants may take several months. Your treatment plan will set out a clear timeline for every stage before you commit to anything.

The cost depends entirely on which treatments are included and how many teeth are being treated. A full written cost breakdown for every stage is provided at your free consultation before you agree to anything. Finance is available through Tabeo with interest-free options to spread the cost into manageable monthly payments. Call 01606 44394 or book online for a free consultation.

Yes, that is the goal. Brunner Court does not produce uniform, overtly cosmetic-looking smiles. Every makeover is designed around what looks natural for your face, your tooth proportions and your overall appearance. The aim is a smile that looks like the best version of yours, not a set of teeth that looks constructed or artificial. Your clinician will use shade guides, photographs and in some cases digital planning tools to ensure the planned result meets your expectations before treatment begins.

Not always but often yes. Where teeth are misaligned, straightening first and then placing restorations gives a far more predictable and long-lasting outcome than placing restorations over crooked teeth. It also means fewer teeth need to be treated with veneers or bonding, reducing the overall cost. Your clinician will advise on the best sequence for your specific case at your consultation.
